Take card outside and check for the E1\/T1 changeover jumper in the card, if your PRI line is E1 then you need close the jumper , if T1 then it should be open. then insert the card into the server.<\/i><\/div>\n<div><i>\u00a0<\/i><\/div>\n<div><i>****************************<\/i><\/div>\n<div><i>Step 2: Card detected by server<\/i><\/div>\n<div><i>****************************<\/i><\/div>\n<div><i>Make sure card is detected by server , type the following command in Linux shell<\/i><\/div>\n<div>lspci<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><i>you should get the below output if the card is detected<\/i><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>0e:08.0 Ethernet controller: Digium, Inc. Wildcard TE121 single-span T1\/E1\/J1 card (PCI-Express) (rev 11)<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><i>If not detected try in another slots\u00a0<\/i><\/div>\n<div><i>\u00a0<\/i><\/div>\n<div><i>****************************<\/i><\/div>\n<div><i>Step 3: configuring the card<\/i><\/div>\n<div><i>****************************<\/i><\/div>\n<div><i>Once the card is detected type the below commands to autoconfigure the card<\/i><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>dahdi_genconf -v<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><i>the above command will show the below results<\/i><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Default parameters from \/etc\/dahdi\/genconf_parameters<\/div>\n<div>Generating \/etc\/dahdi\/system.conf<\/div>\n<div>Generating \/etc\/asterisk\/dahdi-channels.conf<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><i>****************************<\/i><\/div>\n<div><i>Step 4: enabling the channels\u00a0<\/i><\/div>\n<div><i>****************************<\/i><\/div>\n<div><i>you need to enable the dahdi-channels.conf in asterisk conf files.<\/i><\/div>\n<div><i>open the file \u00a0\/etc\/asterisk\/chan_dahdi.conf \u00a0using vi editor as shown below<\/i><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>vi \/etc\/asterisk\/chan_dahdi.conf<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><i>go to last line \u00a0and press o \u00a0and then add the below line<\/i><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>#include dahdi-channels.conf<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><i>save it and exit \u00a0ie: :wq<\/i><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><i>****************************<\/i><\/div>\n<div><i>Step 5: \u00a0Dahdi driver reloading<\/i><\/div>\n<div><i>****************************<\/i><\/div>\n<div><i>Run the below command in asterisk cli<\/i><\/div>\n<div><i>to go to Asterisk cli type the below command<\/i><\/div>\n<div>asterisk -vvvvvvr<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><i>and then type the blow commands in asterisk cli<\/i><\/div>\n<div>module unload chan_dahdi.so<\/div>\n<div>module load chan_dahdi.so<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><i>****************************<\/i><\/div>\n<div><i>Step 6;
