how to install and configure sangoma \u00a0card on Asterisk , vicidial ,goautodial , Freepbx based pbx<\/strong>

  1. If you are using the precompiled iso’s of asterisks pbx then by default the wanpipe will be installed.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    “wanpipe is the driver for the sangoma cards”<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. if the wanpipe is not installed you need to install the latest wanpipe<\/li>\n
    2. Installing the wanpipe in centos<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      installing the dependicies<\/p>\n

      yum -y install kernel-devel-$(uname -r) libtool* gcc make patch perl bison gcc-c++ \u00a0\u00a0ncurses-devel flex \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0libtermcap-devel autoconf* automake*<\/p>\n

      1. download the latest wanpipe from below link<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        1. Untar the wanpipe file<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          tar xvfz wanpipe-<version>.tgz<\/p>\n

          1. cd wanpipe-<version><\/li>\n
          2. type .\/Setup dahdi<\/li>\n
          3. if it prompts yes just press y and enter<\/li>\n
          4. Proceed with Defaults for the rest of the compilation<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            Once wanpipe installation done , now you need to configure your sangoma card<\/p>\n

            1. type lspci \u00a0command to check whether your server have recognizied the sangoma card<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              the above command will return sometink like below<\/p>\n

              “Sangoma Technologies Corp. A200\/Remora FXO\/FXS Analog AFT card”<\/p>\n

              1. now type \u00a0wancfg_dahdi<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                would you like to generate \/etc\/asterisk\/chan_dahdi.conf<\/p>\n

                1. YES<\/li>\n
                2. NO<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                  Configuring port 1 on A101 slot:4 bus:4.<\/p>\n

                  Select media type for AFT-A101 on port 1 [slot:4 bus:4 span:1]<\/p>\n

                      note: for the above you need to ask your provider for the detaisl like crc4 is enable to disable based on that u need to enter<\/p>\n

                                [1-3]:1 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0—— mine is freepbx so i selected from-pstn , if yours is different then select custom and enter your incomming context<\/p>\n

                                Input the group for this port<\/p>\n

                                :0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 —- i have give zero , if you want the group name 1 then give 1<\/p>\n

                                this is based on how you write your outgoing dialplan<\/p>\n

                                Port 1 on AFT-A101 configuration complete…<\/p>\n

                                        type dahdi_cfg \u00a0 -vv \u00a0this shows does the card configured properly or not , shows the channels configured<\/p>\n

                                        go to asterisk cli<\/p>\n

                                        asterisk -vvvvr<\/p>\n

                                        dahdi show status<\/p>\n

                                        dahdi show channels<\/p>\n

                                        pri show spans<\/p>\n
